Adam Kaufman (Born 1974) is an American actor, who portrayed Charlie Keys in the science fiction miniseries Taken from Steven Spielberg. He made his first TV-appearance in the show Brookfield.

Kaufman was born in New Canaan, Connecticut[1] to a Jewish father and a Catholic mother.[2] He studied drama at Lynchburg College, the Circle in the Square Theatre School, and at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Theater Institute.

Personal life

Kaufman is dating and living with girlfriend, actress Poppy Montgomery, his co-star in the independent film Between as well as Lying to Be Perfect. In June 2007, Montgomery announced her pregnancy with Kaufman. Montgomery was then portraying the FBI agent Samantha Spade on the television show Without a Trace and Kaufman went on to portray Brian Donovan, the father of Spade's son Finn, on the show. On 23 December 2007, Montgomery gave birth to son Jackson Phillip Deveraux Montgomery Kaufman in Los Angeles.[1] Kaufman is the younger brother of David Kaufman who is the voice of nickelodeon's Danny Phantom.

As reported on October 10th 2011 through Life & Style, Adam Kaufman has split from girlfriend Poppy Montgomery. It was reported that the break-up was due to distance between both Poppy and Adam when working. Poppy, 36 and Adam met when working together on Between back in 2005.
